Endless Sky continues its series of interviews with Pet Sounds Lyricist Tony Asher and musician/filmmaker Alan Boyd. Tony talked to us in his backyard, giving a glimpse of his working relationship with Brian Wilson, and the creative process that produced the incredible 'Pet Sounds' album. He explains how it has affected his life and what it means to have had a central role in the landmark album. Alan was interviewed in his home studio and shares some of the music he has created there,inluenced by the sounds he heard as a child listening to the Beach Boys albums. You will also get insight into some of Alan's film projects (directing, editing and scoring), stemming from his love of silent movies and his passion for preserving them. These interviews provide a rare glimpse into the creative process.

Filmed in his living room, Torrence takes you down memory lane, talking about everything from the early development of the Jan & Dean sound, the realization of their Drag City LP, the duo's ill-fated TV Pilot, and his emergence as an important graphic artist designing album covers for colleagues in the music industry. Musical montages, rare photos, and Dean's first-hand account of discovering Steve Martin are included. An additional bonus is Peggy Howell, the proprietor of Huntington Beach's "The Gallery HB," giving us a tour of Dean's artwork which is featured at the gallery.
Also included on the DVD are interviews with the Surf City Allstars' Gary Griffin, David Logeman and Philip Bardowell.
